About the Artist
Jeremy A. Morris
Jeremy is truly an engineer when it comes to his life! Naturally having a creative mind and a meticulous attention to detail, graphic designing became a hidden talent. A graduate of Indiana University, Jeremy received his Masters of Science degree in Higher Education & Student Affairs Administration from Indiana University. He also completed his undergraduate degree at Indiana University in African American & African Diaspora Studies. During the past five years, he has worked in multiple capacities in higher education at UCLA, University of Southern California, and Stanford University.
Mr. Morris is an educator. His research and scholarly interests include race and ethnicity, African American and Latino student retention at predominantly White institutions, issues of equity and access, international abroad experiences, and policy. Jeremy’s passion for a critical race theoretical approach to societal issues fuels him to push forward for change in a nation inundated with racism. He is currently working on a research project entitled “Issues of Access: Elitist Higher Education in France and the Invisible Barriers of Social Exclusion for Students of African Origin.” Morris received his Masters of Science degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from Indiana University. He is also an NSF AGEP fellow from Indiana University, Indianapolis.
Jeremy would not be “Jeremy” without a good sense of humor and a laugh to make you laugh! He truly loves God, his family, and friends. If you are in the Los Angeles area then you are most likely to catch Jeremy at the Beach or enjoying the sunny Southern California weather!
